1. Do I need to be 50+ years of age to purchase a villa at Bribie Pines Island Village? Yes. Any person 50 years of age and older is eligible to purchase a village at Bribie Pines Island Village. You must also reside in the villa on a permanent basis.
2. Can my guests visit and stay with me at my villa? Of course. However guests can not reside with you at your villa on a long term basis.
3. Can I sell my villa at any time? Yes. Residents at Bribie Pines Island Village can sell their home at any time, provided of course that it is to someone 50+ years of age. Upon selling your villa, you (the seller) will retain all capital gains with no deferred management fees payable.
4. Are there any rentals allowed in the village? No. Villas are for permanent residents only.
5. What title will I receive upon purchasing a villa at Bribie Pines? Once you have purchased and moved in to your villa, you will be given a certificate of ownership for the home and a license agreement for the land that your home occupies.
6. What will my weekly fees include? Your weekly fees will contribute toward many things, such as:
- leasing of the land
- rates and water charges
- 24 hour management
- use and maintenance of the sports and leisure centre (inclusive of the swimming pool)
- upkeep of all other common areas
- electricity supply to all common areas
- nightly security patrols
